2025-03-29

Since its market debut in 2019 as a 2020 model, the eighth-generation Chevrolet Corvette has been a highly sought-after car among enthusiasts—and for good reason. Every year, it introduces an even more extreme variant. Because of this, the legendary American sports car has yet to receive a mid-cycle update, which typically occurs every three years in the automotive industry.

This week, several photos of what appears to be the next ultimate version of the Corvette have surfaced online. We already know it will be called the Zora and that its performance will be outrageous. However, what’s truly setting social media ablaze are the changes spotted in the interior.

Updates Across All Corvette Models

I think we can all agree that there’s absolutely nothing that needs changing when it comes to the exterior design of the C8 Corvette. However, it seems that Chevrolet has decided to make a few minor upgrades to the cabin. This means that the Zora won’t be the only new addition from Chevrolet in the coming months.

One of the first things eagle-eyed enthusiasts noticed was the absence of buttons on the center console, giving the legendary American sports car an even sleeker and more modern design. The rest of the dashboard was covered in camouflage fabric, suggesting that it, too, has undergone a redesign.

For now, Chevrolet has not officially released any information regarding this update. It remains unclear whether all Corvette versions will receive mechanical enhancements as well.

A Spectacular Lineup

From its base model to the ultimate ZR1, the Chevrolet Corvette offers a range of variants, each more impressive than the last. The American sports car has carved out a prestigious spot in the exotic car segment. Regardless of the version you choose, you get incredible performance for a fraction of the price of a comparable European model.

Currently, the Corvette ZR1 is the most powerful variant, featuring a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. Naturally, expectations for the upcoming Zora model are sky-high. Some rumors suggest it could exceed 1,200 horsepower.
